I’m an artist and writer from Southern California.
The root of my work is curiosity, joy, and healing.
The aesthetic of my home is “natural history museum in the green house.”
I am a wannabe gardener, steadily filling my small patch of suburban wilderness with succulents and honeysuckle.
I’m earnest, which is a nice way of saying I take everything too seriously.
I love to embrace the weirdness of life (which I also take quite seriously).
I worked with interior design magazines from 2012-2020, writing features and interviewing countless designers from New York to Hawaii. I have published poetry and articles on the craft of writing. I’m currently invested in writing meditations on faith and I’m freelancing for Christianity Today’s Creative Studio. My editor is a gem.
I started taking my art seriously around 2018, using watercolor and digital. I’ve tackled every single project possible, which means I’ve created coloring books, journals, cards, art prints, stickers, and posters. I'm drawn to clean lines, bright energy, botanical themes, and an exploratory process.
